Transitional Housing
The Transitional Housing Program is designed to aid those individuals and families who are homeless or are in danger of being homeless in rebuilding their lives by providing stable housing for up to one year. The ideal participant will meet the following "Suitability of Client" guidelines.

Suitability of Client
- Client is looking for permanent housing.
Client must be committed to "getting well" or to "getting on one's feet".
- Client must not be of harm to him/herself or to other residents.
- Client is able to adhere to housing rules.
- Client is willing to cooperate with The Housing Assistance Program staff.
- Client is willing to develop life skills, which will enable him/her to maintain permanent housing, (e.g. improving rental history, credit history, financial stability, paying off utility bills, fines, debts, etc.)

Eligibility Requirements
- Client must be referred from Case Manager who will verify diagnosis and income.
- Client must complete an application, interview, and provide police report no more than 30 days old.
- Client must have an income that enables them to pay rent.
Furnished Studios $300.00 including utilities
$50.00 security deposit
- Client is homeless or in danger of being homeless.
- Client must be at least 18 years of age.
- Client must be able to live independently.
- Client must not be of harm to him/herself or to another resident.
- Client must be interested in developing life skills towards housing and financial stability.
- Client must be willing to comply with program guidelines including meeting once a month with program staff.
- If client has a history of substance abuse or mental health issues, client must be willing to engage in treatment and/or maintenance counseling for the duration of their residence.
- Client must abide by terms of the lease, any addenda to the lease and any program requirements.
- Client cannot have any pets.
